Only one Spitfire XIV is left, and that wonderful plane is
« on: March 28, 2020, 02:29:35 AM »
Yours!  :aok

Come get it.  And fly it in the glorious "To Win the Winter Sky", the Scenario running Saturdays in May, registration here:
https://ahevents.net/index.php/events/scenarios/current-or-next-scenario

We don't have Spit 14's often in Scenarios, so this is a treat for the true aircraft connoisseur.   :aok

The most-muscled of our available Spitfires.  Fastest.  Best climbing.  Made for killing those late-war German fighters and not letting them run away.

The Prodigy, Spitfire

(General footage -- not all Spitfires -- but there is some awesome footage in this vid, actually.)

Given that it looks like our planned late May trip is crumbling...I requested the last Spit.   :salute

What happens when you click on this:
https://ahevents.net/index.php/events/scenarios/current-or-next-scenario

and then click on "click here for registration"?

I click a dot into the little spit 14 circle, then hit the "Register" button, and then it takes me out to a blank registration page with an option to logout, and very little else on the page except headings at the top.  When I go back to the registration page it still shows as if I did not register, and with 1 spit slot open.

OK, let's try this.

Go here:
http://www.ahevents.net

Click on the "logout DaddyAce" button in the upper-right-ish of the page (or whatever your ahevents name is).

Refresh/reload the page.

Then click on the "Member login" button in the upper-right-ish on the page.

Now go here:
https://ahevents.net/index.php/events/scenarios/current-or-next-scenario

Click on:

Click the dot for Spit 14's.

Click the "register" button at bottom of page.

Does it work?

If not, go into your browser, clear you cache and go to the beginning step of this post and try it all again.

If that doesn't work, I'll ask Spikes to see what he can do.

I just tried unregistering myself, and re-registering myself, and it all works.  So I'm thinking some FUBARred cookie in your browser or something.

Tried all, including clearing cache, and also tried using another browser that I rarely use.  Consistently same result.  It seems like a simple process, can't seem to get it, no joy.

Roger.  Sorry -- I will contact Spikes to see if he can get you in there.

No problem, my friend!  I sent a message just now to you and Spikes.
