It also has 8" guns, which is heavy for a CV. CV-2 had 8" guns, too.

It looks like there's no propellers, but they're actually spinning which is more obvious with the white engined plane.

Yes. And it's the reason for the large crowd gathered on top of those 8" gun turrets. They are observing a stern launch while steaming in reverse. Good job, OM.
