Quiet dignity

As an American I haven't really shown much interest in English royalty. I do find the queen interesting though.
I didn't see her entire speech but what I saw was impressive. She conducted herself with quiet dignity and a calm manner. You have a tendency to forget that she had survived the German blitz. And here she was speaking to the English public as a strong leader and telling them how they  would survive and make England proud!
All I can say is God bless the Queen

We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return. We will be with our friends again. We will be with our families again. We will meet again.
