This could be moved to the Wishlist forum.  It would be cool to have Spanish galleon ships added to the game.  Jolly Roger could be a naval only country.

As passionate as I am about naval warfare, especially 17-19th Century, no.

The English don't have trees anymore. Spain either I think.

Trees are imported, I have seen the making of Full Metal Jacket.  :rock

History is under constant scrutiny, revision and refinement. Even with sources that do not involve photography (still and moving) and audio recording there are comparisons of written data from multiple perspectives on both (or many) sides of an event that can provide both a broader and clearer picture. Yes, there will always be multiple professional opinions but that, too, offers comparison and contrast. Crackpot theories and conspiracy driven rhetoric generally stands out from legitimate academic study.

Oddly enough it seems that crackpots are teaching the so called "academics" in several places that were considered of  higher learning.

It seems? And how many campuses have you been to where this is being taught?

You read about them in the news quite a bit.

The failure of the Spanish armada was about the weather. Just like Napoleon and Hitler at Moscow.

A mildly amusing story from Sweden, about wooden ships:

In the 1980's, a landlord called the Kings office headquarter, telling them now the planted kings oak trees are ready for cutting down (after 100 years of growth) for making ships   :D.

Spain was too busy with the Inquisition.  Interior programs kept true expansion curtailed in the New World.
