Scenarios are the best fun in AH3 IMHO, especially if you enjoy a historic aspect.   :aok

Bf 109K-4's and Bf 109G-14's are awesome planes in this setup.

Don't let glory and adventure pass you by!

Get on in there and nab yourself a shiny new 109!  :aok

Are walks ons still allowed?

Because of uncertainty I do not want to falsely commit and confirm a position and then bail due to Real Life when the time comes.

Absolutely.  We are very happy to have walkons show up at 3 pm on game day.  :aok

Have the dates been changed during this last week, because the last I saw the scenario was due to start today, 18 April - I even double-checked last weekend when I was participating in an event in Elite: Dangerous to be sure it wasn't the same date and remembered then that it was a week later.  I turn up today and not seeing anything going on came here to see what has happened - no mention of any date change that I can see in the Special Event forums and then I find this message giving all the dates as being in May!   :headscratch:

[edit]
I was starting to doubt my sanity until I saw this in the Scenarios General forum!  The change of date was further down the thread and not at all obvious!  Perhaps it would have been an idea to post a new thread announcing this important change of dates?

Good to know it's not just me.  I think my biggest surprise was not finding any other reference to the dates being changed anywhere on the forum!

Apologies for confusion on dates.

We initially announced other dates, but had to change them to get CO's lined up.

The dates of May 2, 9, 16, 23 were posted here on Feb 22:

The CO's are Dutch for the Luftwaffe, and Brooke for the US 9th AF and RAF 2nd TAF.

Dates of the event are now:  May 2, 9, 16, 23.

Registration is now open here:
https://ahevents.net/index.php/events/scenarios/current-or-next-scenario

Time To Win the Winter Sky!  :aok

and those are the dates given on the registration page, the ahevents.net "current scenario" page, and the rules writeup.

Again, apologies for confusion on dates.

If we change date for any future scenarios, I will create a topic with the title as well.

Thanks Brooke!  I appreciate the correct dates were posted later in the thread and on ahevents registration page, but as time went on I'm sure I wasn't alone in forgetting the exact dates and looking at the original post.  In the absence of being able to edit the OP, I definitely think a new thread would have been a good idea.  Anyway, looking forward to participating in May!   :salute   :aok

More time to practice!    :airplane:

I did a lil practicing early this morning around 7/8 AM EDT and just got done doing some more :D

need to get with my GL and see if he can schedule us all some meeting times, since 1 or more of us in our group lives in the UK while the rest live in the US....

maybe we can possibly show up Sunday and help Brooke and his group, flying as the Agressors for them.....who knows
