It is okay, sometimes can be fun, but the game is pretty bad performance wise, I got a 1500 dollar gaming rig from 2015 and it can barely run that game at a stable 60 FPS

I am trying it out. I used to take part in civil war re-enactment so this game seems like a digital version of that minus the wool, heat, and death marches.

Been playing for just over a year. Join a regiment and get into organized play rather than swim in the chaos of a public server. The game is an alpha release and has it's teething problems but it has come a long way in three years.

It's a role playing game. Right now the artillery is AI controlled but all the soldiers you see are real people playing from their computers. Servers hold 150 players and there are about 20 maps from the 1862 Antietam campaign. You'll fight at Antietam, South Mountain and Harpers Ferry.

The developers are currently working on integrating player controlled artillery and cavalry into the game.

Here's a clip. I don't think there's any foul language. Check your PTSD and get ready....

Here's a clip of a couple devs working a cannon. They haven't got it working good enough to implement into the game yet but as you can see, it won't be long...
