MA Strat Run 05-08-20

-----MA HIGH ALTITUDE STRATEGIC BOMBING MISSION FRIDAY 05-08-20-----



Good morning everyone,

MA missions are slowly returning to Aces High!  This weeks MA Mission will be different but just as exciting!  The mission will be on Friday 05-08-20 in the main arena.  Targets will be announced at 1930 here on the BB.
This week we will be shaking up the MA Mission, SBD-5 and F4Fs.  We will be running carrier operations - map permitting, we will be looking for enemy CV or BB groups to sink.  This is something very different then our regular B17 strat runs but will hopefully be just as fun.  This week fighter escorts will  be more important then ever, anyone is welcome to walk on (preferably before 2000).  Relevant information will be posted below.

Notice: If any Fighter Squadrons would like to fly escort for the Bombers (Knights) please PM me on the BB or in game and let me know.  Even if only a single squad willing to escort would add a lot to the mission.

Mass missions like this are what what make Aces High so unique and keep me paying my monthly tribute to Hitech.  If we can keep growing out missions (of any kind) to something of an "dude this looks crazy!" scale we might just rope on a few more people.  I personally sit on the fence, but as stated above the potential scale of combat is unrivaled and keeps me on the hook. <S>FBTrev95/Riftval

I was in last Fri  Trev but musta had the day wrong . I switched to Bish then couldnt getback to rook to play MA. (dispicable  side-switch timer) Maybe see ya this friday.

Sometimes us AKs announce in the BB our intentions to get a challenge.

You posted your intent of The SBDs but it was not feasible to look for all the CVs and looking at 2 countries which you could attack.

We missed you bud!  I forgot to post the tgt on the BB, however with no escorts that might have been for the best.  I am glad you enjoyed the video, its always fun going back and re-watching the mission.

Yeahj that was a great flight and a great video. Reinforces again I need a new vid card. I think the most fun was the rook fighters playing with us knowing we had almost no guns and could shoot us down at will. Like a cat playing w a bird.
