I will, however, offer one more observation on this wish.

If you're gonna watch planes go down and become smoking wrecks in the MA then you probably won't even have a chance to see it nor will the guy looking at your plane going down. Not in a furball, anyway.

Seems a waste of time and resource. Just sayin'.

When a plane is shot down the wreck remains on the ground and smoking for a while. I think this would be cool and would make for some great screenshots too.

Hmmm... it has occurred to me that u may have enjoyed (in your youth) torturing and killing animals
just for fun?

I think a downed pilot should also be able to enter the smoking wreck and retrieve another magazine for his pistol.

Normal FR is 60-65. In the clouds 15-20. I had my computer updated when AH III was introduced. Spent over five hundred dollars to upgrade ( had to postpone my wife's operation). Any way that may not be much money to a lot of people, but to an 'ol Southern boy , it's a lot.

1. You postponed your WIFE'S surgery to upgrade your system?

2. My PC's 5 yrs old but my video card is only a yr old. 60 fps steady - clouds or not. Try a new video card.

Hello old friends.   I believe something could be done with custom built arenas (if there’s animation present to replace) without involving main arena challenges.  Years ago  my good friend USRanger, tackled flames from buildings and aircraft and inserted them in a custom map and was able to upload them for use in non main arena settings.  He also added “dummy” planes and vehicles around fields.

However I don’t know  :headscratch: if there currently is any animation for a vacated plane  :airplane: other than the tumble or burning explosion.  What happens when you exit planes (enter 3 times) on the ground?  If it doesn’t poof ..... disappear instantly???  That’s all I have.

A more useful addition would be burned/ flaming/ smoking destroyed field guns.
