It seems to me the AH population is split between two groups when it comes to new planes.
One group is anxious to fly them, learn how to shoot them down and in general extend their knowledge and fun.
The other group has two characteristics: 1) They always fly the same plane and 2) they express great concern about the difficulty it will present to their ride. They use words like UFO, HO-Dweeb and etc. To be sure, not everyone in category 1) is in category 2) ...
