It helps me flip it around faster or roll faster to the right.  Picko is really good and has been really nice.

Perd that's Picko Jr. (Logan) He flys with Fariz in the MA. Usually his father flys under Picko for FSO but son comes on in the MA.

I've known his father for years, good guy and funny guy. I like the younger, too.

The engine off is gamey and lame. I know why and how it is useful, just a weak crutch in my opinion.

Have you tried just pulling the throttle to minimum?

When I train I often recommend players put together a little aerobatic sequence to learn their aircraft and then they can use it to evaluate and compare other aircraft. It can also be useful for getting used to new equipment.

you should have spent a little more  ( I Know, I know we aren't all loaded) and got a stick with throttle control....  using buttons to control the throttle would suck ...  mind you.. doesn't seem to hinder Lazer at all.... but he's a freak so...you can't help that  hahaha

IMHO it is just sad when anyone has to kill their engine in a dogfight at anytime

Some very good pilots resort to it when they are losing a close A2A engagement

Just gaming the game

A simple fix is to make air restart more lengthy and a bit iffy.

It's nothing more than a placebo effect to gaining an advantage where there is none.

If you're flying a Dr1 or a Camel it's historically accurate, but more for landing than dogfighting.  :aok

There are many gamey things that occur in this game.  We are not in reality, we are flying a game where there is no severe weather, no wind, no turbulence, engines always run unless starved of fuel or oil and where tanks can shoot down airplanes with their main gun...

We have wind. You can set a crosswind at ground level if you want some fun landing. Turbulence is not feasible at this time. Severe weather grounded aircraft in WW2. We always have brand new engines so we avoid a lot of problems from wear and tear. We get to practice for more years than the war lasted so difficult shots are more likely. But the MA is designed as a game environment, the scenarios are a more realistic simulation.

Practice vertical reversals with the engine on and use the throttle when it helps rotate the nose down.
