This scenario will be based after Galland's planned 'Der Grosse Schlag', an attack on the massed formations of American B17s and B24s by an equal ammount of Luftwaffe fighters.
GERMANY
Luftwaffe will take off from A7 and CAP HQ area.
Their aircraft as follows:
8 Fw190A8 with 2x 20mm MG151/20 and 2 30mm Mk 108 will attack the B17s and make ONE slashing attack on the b17s.
8 Bf109G-10 will provide top cover for the Fw190s as they make one slashing attack on the bomber stream.
Luftwaffe wins if they destroy more than 35% of the bombers while not losing over 50% of their attacking force.
Any LW that survive original attack can RTB and reup and attack the bombers as they return home (A1).
America
16 B17s will take off from A1 and head East to bomb the Bishop HQ.
B17s will carry 50% fuel and 6x 1000lb bombs.
Escorts
8 P47D-30s with 3x DT and 100% fuel will take off from A2 to escorts bombers to target and back.
8 P51D with 100% fuel and 2 DT will take off from A2 with the p47s and escort b17s to target.
8 of the P47s should form their own group while the P51s do the same.
Allied victory is if the Bishop HQ is destroyed and the bombers don't suffer loss of 35% of their bombers. And if 50% of the LW is killed.
1 Life Per Person event, if you are shot down you may join a B17 as a gunner but may not reup in a fighter.
Ceiling is unlimited for all fighters.
B17s max ceiling is 24k.
