Where is this?

Just watching a Youtube video, when this combination caught my eye. The narrator says the B29's are heading to Palembang Sumatra ( about 150km from me) but the Spitfires and the Corsairs confuse me. Where the F4u's used in Burma?

My best guess would be Colombo, Ceylon which is the bottom most red circled location on this map (involving Operation Matterhorn):



It appears to have the only realistic range to hit Palembang.
