clip board moving with headset in vive

when moving head in vr clip moves with you. How do we stop that . I have set mine up and it works fine . but a friend it does the clip board moving with your head thing.

It would do that only if you'd paused tracking. If you haven't done it you should map both a pause and center tracking button. Hitting the center button should put you back to looking around without the clipboard following you.
