it's a fun mission.
I figure he uses the sim as an active window to the world.........maybe for entertaining background noise
I don't think he sits at the screen unless he hears something and he probably has the volume up loud to hear that action is coming and have the luxury to sit down and have instant action.
I used to stay logged in a vehicle hidden away near a rear enemy rear field outside the dar ring and watch the bombers or Me163 climbing out and sit down later to try to lob shells from a tiger 2 on a mountain over the field to completely deack it and try to pick off M3 resupplying or score the holy grail ME262 on the rearm pad.
