mods and power abuse
« on: August 23, 2020, 05:21:54 PM »
Seriously. Never really gave it a 2nd thought til now. Been muted 2x in my AH life both times for using the word "b*tch' in the context of "that base will be a b*tch to take." But now. Got into a discussion on 200 about how bombing and bailing was bad for the game (HT this was 20min ago check the log) and got warned by an OP, then muted when I reiterated my issues with it.

Really?

You want me to keep sending you $15/mo. moderate your mods.

You were warned yet you still felt compelled to repeat yourself to test it? And then you came to the forum for the public spectacle?

The guy said he was muted for discussing the issues with bombing and bailing. Hardly mutable material. You guys did notice that part of his message right?

Maybe the mod was the bailer and got triggered.  Either way, they want those discussions here on the forums, where people will tell you its their $15 to bail as much as they want.
Atleast we got proxies within 6k, that was a huge improvement that I didnt expect.  People are less likely to bail if you are in visual range now.

He was muted for arguing the warning.  He was warned and continued.

There is no screenshot evidence of how he complained on game text (was he being an obnoxious arse like he's being on the forum? was he going on and on and being a nuisance?) However he did it he's doing everything the wrong way no matter how 'right' he thinks he is. Whether you agree with him or not, he was given fair warning then did it again out of spite then brought his issue to the forum for public sympathy and to build a pressure case against HT.  (And it wasn't even anything new or unique to complain about.) :old:

If he learns how to take it here > support@hitechcreations.com instead of running to the forum to publicly whine about it then at least one positive thing came of this.
