Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

This happened in LA?  Very curious.  Maybe this wasn't a prop after all.  Maybe this wasn't just a movie for kids' enjoyment 30 years ago.

The truth is out there.

HiTech, we need our personal jet packs in the game.  Vulching just took on a new level.

That GI Joe looking thing seems cool, but this is what I want for my morning commute.

Shouldn't happen much more often than it does on a bike.  Besides, you don't HAVE to be running it at ridiculous speed.  But, it would be spectacular...

Talking with the airline pilots at work.  best guess is that someone strapped a mannequin to a drone and RC the "jetpack man" during the airliner final approaches before landing.

Or this one.

That one's come a long way since I last saw it.

Now, I am not a military guy, but can someone please explain if my thinking is wrong...  Who on EARTH would consider those things a good idea for a military application?  Noisy, man size targets hanging a few feet off the ground that cannot change direction fast.  Don't they call those "target drones"?

Grape = easy target, easy to squash, and 100% PK.

I'm thinking more from an infantry/ground fire perspective.
