-----MA HIGH ALTITUDE STRATEGIC BOMBING MISSION FRIDAY 10-16-20-----



Good afternoon everyone!  This Friday evening Riftval's bombers will be returning to the MA.  Riftval's Bombers specialize in High Altitude Strategic Bombing.  If you want to fly with a bunch of other bomber pilots at 25,000ft then this might be the fit for you.  Riftva's Bombers in not a squad just a loose coalition of bomber pilots of all chess pieces who like mass formation bombing.  This week will be a classic B17 Strat Run to kick things off, although I do have a few other mission sets in the works.  This is a walk on event, though if squads let me know they want to fly in advance it makes mission planning a lot easier.  All heavies and little friends welcome.  Be sure to spread the word, this is our chance to bring a little bit of FSO coordination into the MA!

--Friday Night Formation--

This Friday we will be trying to fly in a diamond formation.  If we have enough aircraft we will have two escort fighters for every flight.  Trailing bombers should try to keep a 200 - 300m spacing from the Lead Flight. (excluding Rear Bomber that will try to maintain 450m max.)  Fighter Escort positioning is determined by Formation Lead (Lead Flight Bomber) this is subject to change depending on how things work out over the next few missions.

-Important-
-All trailing bombers are encouraged to use (.wingman PLAYERNAME) on their formation leader. (unless directed otherwise)
-Flight Leads please make sure your manifolds are set to 40.  If you set it any higher those who have used the .wingman command on you will quickly fall behind.
-Escort Fighters please stay close to the bombers, you are to try to act as a deterrent perusing the enemy from the formation should be a last resort.



I am not sure how many people will be showing up to these but we will all be sharing the same comms channel (Ch177).

Well...this is UL's Squad Night...might talk Tactus into escorting with you guys! The "Blizz", is a GO! She found the JUG pretty fun, when we flew with you guys the other day,Trev and Svaal! Got her out of the Spit for a change   Cant make any Promises, but I will bring it up!  Oh one more thing....How would you feel about say, Hit EVERY VH,Ammo Bunker, and WF the towns along the "Targeted" sides Front? Instead of a Strat? Seems as of late...with lack of "DEDICATED" strat defenders, this strategy would more than likely draw more defenders? Especially with going in at "Mid-Highish so defensive scramble would have a chance of trying to defend? Maybe? GOTTA feed the DOGS(escorts), ya know?🤪🤣  Just an idea...this IS YOUR SHOW, and it would be a pleasure escorting you! The ULs also pull Bomber sorties at times, too...soooo, Pretty sure I can talk them into helping out, hope so anyway!
