That is not all that fair. When there are 5 people on one side and 15 on the other 2, ENY kicks in. This is a common situation in the MA today and the system was not designed for 35 people. It does not work when there are so few people on, it only starts to work once there is about 70 people on. ENY should be turned off until each side has at least 10 players.
This.
Or just perk the planes as the ENY increases.
Switching sides is boring as there might not be a fight over there.
People want action, not flying Microsoft flight simulator in your P51 after switching sides to a team with 5 players who aren't doing much and who aren't being attacked.
I switched to the low #s side the other day, the fight died after an hour. I was stuck. My team with the low #s were now hoarding the other side. The other teams began fighting each other. I left as it was boring and couldn't switch back.
By eliminating planes during off hours, ENY is merely just giving a great incentive to log off as you cant fly what you want, and unfortunately can't play any other time periods. It's a great damper on the off hours players to not get to fight the way you want.
I honestly don't blame the guys for these complaints.
A low #s team is only fighting 3-5 guys anyway, that's really not an embalance if your low #s team is fighting against them. A 3 on 5 fight is normal and sometimes even the low #s team has more players in the current fight.
