I was keeping an eye on the CFP info, and UC is ranked 6 now from higher up, which I am salty, but understand that we only faced 1 ranked opponent and that was ND. I hope UC will make a National Conference Bowl in the next conference we are moving to.

They lost a lot of good players last year.

Here is a good debate. Who do you think they should be playing?

Oregon is a good non-conference opponent some years. I think the Big Ten, like the SEC, have to keep their non-conference schedule kind of weak so as to not accumulate losses. Still, Ohio St. will not make the playoffs with 2 losses. And, they are likely to lose another, I think.

If they play at home it should be an empty stadium.

Strategy for beating Purdue:  get ranked to less than top 5 before you play them.

Purdue in the running for Big 10 west title.

Beat #2 and #3 still can not get in the top 25.  Buckeyes going to have a ruff next three weeks.  Purdue, MSU then MU.

The CFP rankers might feel differently about Purdue than the AP rankers.

At least the week-10 CFP ranking had some significant differences to the AP ranking.

At least Purdue are civilized by not taking down the FG.

If I were them, I would keep Scott Frost.  Nebraska this year is a lot better than their record, and getting a new coach is a multi-year crap shoot.  A lot will depend on who is quarterback next year for Nebraska.
