well we started raid with 2 panzers and 1 m16 ( one trak,had engine problems , we suspect of the 100 proof kind ) but by drivin like a fool bull soon caught up . but not 5 min out of the base we were sighted by a loser in a b26 who must have radioed in out posit judgin from the toejam storm that followed. well forst fighter we saw was a hog ( beemer i think) who managed after a fierce fight to kamakasi into cave causin a eng dead in his tank and a hit on one of the m 16s , but we were so close to the base the m16 was able to catch us again.
we were set upon again and again by fighters a spit a 109 a hog and i think more but new guy and bull shot them up ( with a littl help from our air cover sparce as it was ) we finnaly got there to be greeted by a phalanx of vehicals.
i dispached 1 m16 and one panzer in my panzer upon entering the grounds of the base, with both m16 blazing away the whole time at any thing moving or that looked like it might move. i started in on the hangers and ack the hits tallyed ( i got the little srite you get when there is a hit) but nothin I FIRED AND FIRED AND ALL GROUND TARGETS AND NOTHIN FINNALY THE ACK I WAS DESPRATLY POUNDING ROUND AFTER ROUND (oh the humanity)OF HE AND AP INTO BORED THRU THE 6 INCHES OF BOW ARMOR AND THE LIGHTS WENT OUT. BUG BUG BUG BUG BUG BUG BUG BUG BIG GUN NO KILL HANGER ACK OR FIGHTER HANGER OR VEHICAL HANGER,ahhhem sorry i was hyped i put the rounds in at range of d2.2 to d1.6 18 rds in buff hanger nothin 12 in fighter hanger nothin and d 600 or so 7 rounds in to ack ( that is a tough ack... was a blast back to the trenches as i said i used both types of rounds.
