Anybody have any luck finding 9mm ammo? Seems this stuff is about as scarce as diamonds and whoever has it in stock price gouges it 500% over cost.

Yep, didnt realize the shortage after purchasing a handgun. I have .22 in case of desperate need. Its a slow trickle on what I can find online, but dont sit good with me knowing im getting pineappled buying some online for $30-50 when it should be $10 a box.  The store here gets a truck randomly and its more of a "right place right time". Bought more .22 this afternoon that just came in and no 9mm came in. But its better then none

Good deal. Folks these days are pretty protective of their supply chain.  I keep plenty on hand of what I need and still purchase some every once in awhile.

Ammo and reloading components have been scarce for several months now. I don't figure it will change for another several months. While there is capacity for firearm production to increase, should additional steel resources be found, the ammo and component producers are already at peak capacity.

I have had luck at finding 9mm at academy but I .380 is damn well near impossible to find. I can go to my local gun range and buy 1 box if I shoot there. Thinking about trading in the wifes .380 for a 9mm.
