Active Aces High Squadrons
« on: November 10, 2020, 03:34:06 PM »
Doing a little research I think I've learned that ....

Aces High has over 30 squadrons of various size that fly in the MA (taking into consideration that some squadrons are parts of larger organizations). This is by no means a comprehensive list. If any of you see your squadron missing, please inform me.

There does seem to be some database oddities. For instance, the claimed member number at the top seldom matches the actual count of names listed. Still, there's over 450 names among the squadrons I compiled. Some of them are deceased (Earl1 comes to mind) but I'd like to think not too large an amount. Even so, there's about 150 names that are underlined (indicating that they've at least flown one sortie in the MA this month). I know several of them that show no MA activity but are active in events.

Remembering how this community once organized Titanic Tuesdays, it would be nice if all of these squadrons would evenly spread their numbers among the sides and pick a day to have one big 'squad night' for everyone. Even 50 a side is a decent amount of players (though I suspect the group could pull off 100 per side if they really wanted to).

Just a thought.  :)

VF-17 Jolly Rogers - https://arlogu3.wixsite.com/mysite

Those seem to be the only active websites - at least from what's in squadron info. If any of you have up to date squadron website info it would be greatly appreciated. :)

That database hasn't been kept updated in years for the overall list of active squads.

I compiled this from the stats page, plugging in player names to pull up squad stats for the current tour (250).

Ya the squad pages are messed up again. If you go to https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/scores/mysqdrank.php and type in "Fugitive" it will will bring up the squads "rank". Clicking on the squad name to go to the score pages gives and error....ERROR: twitchy does not appear to be part of a squad yet if you type in twitchy's name it will do the same thing. Something is messed up.

Also if you use the main scores page you can cross reference the squads by listing the top 25 by rank in each category. snappy2 squad, Eastern Oregon Raiders has only 2 players with only one player showing any flight time. His squad is ranked 21 in attack even tho snappy hasn't flown ANY attack sorties.

Scores page is really messed up
