Outside the cockpit view

Hello,
I am having a little trouble with viewing outside the cockpit that I hope you can help me with. Let me explain. I have taken a little break from the game and recently sat down to fly. I have a flight stick that I use, in addition I use a roller mouse with my left hand that enabled me to roll around and view outside the cockpit without setting up the hat switch. When I came back to the game my roller mouse no longer allows me to view outside. I find this to be a hindrance and would like to get this straightened out. With all the updates while I was gone did something change that would not allow this to function the way I use to use it, or is there a simple setting that I need to turn on?
I would appreciate any help.

Are you talking about flying a fighter aircraft online?

The F3 view (outside) is disabled for fighters in the online arenas. You should be able to use it for bombers, and all planes offline.

Thanks for your reply. I know the F3 view can only be used for bombers. What i am talking about is a view from inside the cockpit to outside, in a fighter. This would be very much like using a vr, but without the vr devise, allowing me to rotate my view outside without having to turn my head. I never did anything special to set this up, I simply plugged in my roller mouse andit worked.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I tried F8 and it does give me a continuous rotation of the view when I use my hat switch. However I am trying to achieve this by only using my roller mouse not the hat switch.

I use to be able, when in the cockpit, to rotate my view around by using the roller mouse alone. Now I cant move my view around without the hat switch. Previously I only used the hat switch for rear angle view, flaps. If any one else can help I would appreciate it.

Shift ; is the mouse GUI toggle command

Shift H is the mouse pan toggle command.

H is mouse pan hold.

I cheated, I looked at the keyboard commands.
