Re-Sub Woes

Hello,

I decided to re-sub for a while and get back into the air. I play via Steam. I have activated the sub in the Steam account settings, I have $$$ in my steam wallet as well as PayPal linked to my account.

When i try to enter Main Arena I get a message to re-activate account for the sub price, I hit yes. Then i get another message that i already have an active agreement....but never lets me in, I just get the same two messages over and over again.

What am I missing?

Since I have Steam too I was going to try to run the game through it.

I don’t recall what issue came up, but I ended up just downloading the game from the website.

Might work better that way anyways since you’d be running it through Steam and then from HTC at the same time - possibly putting more demand on your system resources. I can’t say for sure though...

The Steam account can't be the same as the direct Aces High account.  It has to be a separate account.

Sounds like a Steam issue. Did you contact them?

I still have the same issue.  i have not contacted Steam or Hitech yet.  I plan on calling Hitech Tmrw.  I am wondering if i need to actually kill the account in Steam and start fresh.  I have had the account via Steam dormant for several months so i may have to restart totally fresh?  i was hoping to keep all those perkies I had but oh well I guess.

SOLVED

I had the Steam overlay turned off for this game (VR reasons) this prevented the Steam message box were you confirm the transaction from opening.

Be aware there are TWO places for this setting, General Steam settings as well as Game specific settings.  I forgot this and didn't check the game specific one.
