M4 75 with rocket launcher.

just started using this rocket launcher.   There seems to be a glitch. When the rockets are expended, the main gun defaults to Smoke rounds and won’t toggle to HE. works as normal before the rockets are empty. resumes working if I re-arm until I run out rockets, then it glitches again. only thing to do is end sortie.

your gv stick settings may not be correct.  try back key to toggle guns.

This is a head scratcher! I know you tried what Semp suggested....as you know, You auto swap "Modes" for when you go Gunner, Bombardier,Vehicle? Pretty sure that having mapped buttons for this, would NOT override/cause "Key Board" commands to be voided, as I use them sometimes...Voice Attack not recognizing in due time! So, this is just weird! Ranks right up there, with NVidia's Shadow Play recording not working anymore.   "To use this, a FULL WINDOW game must used"(paraphrasing). I didnt think AH3 ran in "Non-Full" Window?  :bhead

Exactly what load out are you taking?

What position are you launching from?

Are you launching with stick or key board?

I just tried and all worked well so something is different with your setup or your method of launching , trying to figure out what.

I’ve taken the rockets with the 97 HE rounds and 7(?) smoke grenades.

works fine until rockets are zero. then it gets stuck on smoke rounds.

kayboard using back space ineffective

Rebooted the computer and got aa windows update and now it works as normal. How could windows interact with the game to screw that up?

Maybe you enabled sticky keys or something that interfered or played a part hijacking backspace if you like or from windowing the game

Sticky Keys is a feature of Windows to help people who have problems typing key combinations.  For example, you hold the shift key and press s to type a capitol S.  With sticky keys you can press the shift key and then release it, then press s and it will type a capitol S as if you were holding the shift key down.

Thanks for that. Not sure thats the problem.

remember the key functioned properly until the rockets were empty. Then the toggle would stop working properly.

how would sticky keys or windows know what ammo counter in AH are, and why would it change their behavior?
