Yes you would.
You can always discuss on private channels. But any type of political discussion tends to degrade very quickly into name calling.

HiTech

Sorry to do this, but that isn't true, unless every one is playing on the same side and we are discussing Chanel 200, The only cross country communications.

I can't even send a private message to an individual on the other side, even to a squad mate and it's the same with Squad Chan/Vox it don't cross country lines.

Again the only cross country comms is 200, You know because of SPYING and all.

any channel between 201 and 299 is private if nobody is on it.  you can vox and text.  also squad chanels do not have filters.  but if reported mutes are doubled. i think.

Unless something has changed if I'm a bishop and my budy is a rook the only channel we can chat on is 200, 201-299 do not cross country lines, only 200 crosses over which is the point of this discussion as the OP stated ....

Where are the rules for what is acceptable for discussion on 200? Just looking for the details and not a bunch of speculation please.
Monday night I got a warning for responding to something that somebody else brought up on 200. Never got a warning before int VR, it covers the whole screen! Not fun.
I was told to keep the discussion to game related topics. Does that mean no discussing the weather or the game? I'm curious what is "acceptable" and who is the decider.

The reason to use 200 is cross country comms, that's pretty much it.

as far as I can remember when I started playing 201 to 209 will cross countries.  it's always been like that.  pigs used to use 252 for vox and text when we would play on all 3 countries.  we never had a problem.  right now me and a squadie use one chanel to talk and text when we play on different countries.

That's my understanding as well.  Most people use 200, but if everyone wanted to talk on 299, it would work the same way.

Bomber pilots need something to brag about.  Not surprised you have refrigerators in those big cockpits, glad to see you putting them to good use!

my input....

For anything considered "main arena" channel 200 is not useful.  It's a distraction and also leads to some issues from time to time.

For maps that have focused scenarios, not so bad as usually those maps have folks who just want to have fun and everyone gets along.

The problem, Xerox, as you kind of inadvertently pointed out, is that there are occasionally narrow-minded individuals who want to profess all kinds of things in channel 200 and some who feel obligated to express their frustrations and/or weaknesses (sometimes incorrectly focused) with everyone else.  I never found channel 200 anything but a distraction and an annoyance 'at best'

No such list... it's a bit like speeding...  you get away with it most of the time... then one day there is a cop there...is there any reason for the speeding sir... yeah...I didn't know you were here..
There are general rules...they get pushed...sometimes you get busted... and it is really annoying when you are in a line of traffic all going the same speed and you're the one that gets busted hahahaha

I was going 70 miles an hour and got stopped by a cop who said, “Do you know the speed limit is 55 miles per hour?” “Yes, officer, but I wasn’t going to be out that long…”

Channels 200 through 299 all are open for cross country communication both text and vox

Squad Channels for Squad members works both cross country and cross arena for text....but think Squad vox only works in same arena....no matter if you are on same or different sides....

At least this is how it was still working roughly a week or two ago

Hope this helps

As far as chat rules....

If you wouldn't say or text it in church, school, at work, in front of your grandparents, parents, kids

Then don't say or post it in the text buffer

It is really that simple!

Hope this helps
