Here's the problem. Some of the maps are too big, this creates the advantage for bish during the off hours. Heres why:
What I've been seeing happening is, when the map is too big, the bish can attack multiple bases with 15 -20 organized players. This means the defending teams with only 8 players cannot defend them all. It makes it easy for the bish to scoop up indefensible bases to get the 20%. Then they go to the next team and do the same thing. The bish have a big squad that plays in the early hours, so it's very difficult to beat their coordination. Once the #s start building up for the other 2 sides, it makes it harder for for bish to win.
Then what you see happening is, since the bish have got 20% of one team, and 15% of the other. Once the #s pick up for the other teams, they start going after bish. So now we have both sides going after bish. The bish team gets ganged on both sides and cannot do anything even with the highest #s. I've been seeing for a few months now that most of the fights are both teams teaming up on bish to knock their side to 60% fields while the other 2 teams don't even attack each other. This is because they want bish to not be able to take all of the bases back during the off hours to win the map.
One of the biggest problems is defending bases from the bish during the off hours. If the back bases are too far, no one wants to roll from them to defend the horde of bish. If my team only has 8 players. Its going to be very hard to convince even 2 other players to roll from a far back field to fly there and attempt to defend against 8 bish. Generally the defenders will die quickly to 15K p51s that bring em low and then will get ganged. Thus wasting about 10-20 min getting alt to defend their forward base. I find this problem all of the time. No one or very few will roll from a back field to defend because they are too far for off hours.
With smaller maps and shorter fields during off hours. It would make it a little bit harder for bish to steal so many undefended bases on both sides.
I feel like rooks and knights mostly go after bish to push them back during day time hours and it has created this unbalance for a while now. And switching to bish to help them doesn't sit well when they already have the #s.
This is the predicament I've been seeing for a few months now.
