I have been playing off and on since Air Warrior 1, I didn't think I was any good until the day 999000 pm'd me and mentioned how well I did in dismantling his B17's in a 109.

999000 is to be feared if he's  not on your side, and in All cases to be respected. I'm a gv-er and I finally got the upper hand on 999000 this week. We were trying to capture a base on Rift Valley, 999000 had his B17's, on the deck killing anything that moved lol. In the next 15 minutes I managed to main gun 5 of his bombers down. That goes into my record book. :D

Dislike or disparage, not me. Any negative comments I have heard have been whines about loosing out on the contest of 999000 vs them.

999000 is the only bomber pilot that could disassemble  a FW-190A8 to a number of free-flying components at more than 1.0k out, coming in from 12 o'clock high  :old:
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

It always makes me giggle when I watch a fighter drag a bandit to him to be killed.

I used to run into him all the time hunting bombers.  He gives you instant feedback on how difficult your bomber attack approach is to hit. :)  If you're sloppy, you either die or miss him with your bullets.

My favorite 999000 memory is I was on autoclimb in a jug and saw a set of B17s about 4k or so above me in my general vicinity.  Didn't think too much of it, just continued browsing the internet on my phone as I climbed.  Then, through the distraction, I heard engine noise.  Then tracers, a wing went away, and when I hit the ground, "You have been killed by 999000."  He has the distinction of being the only person ever in any game to bounce my fighter in a set of bombers.  I wasn't even mad, just laughed my backside off.

Well, Well, Look what my son jr999900 has been up to...  Thanks to all for the kind words, its an outstanding community.  Truth be told I'm like most of you guys who just love aircraft.

What people don't know is that I'm really bad at this game even to this day.   I tried to fly fighters early on with NO success. I could not hit water falling out of a boat, but still loved the game.  Found enough success then with PT boats gunning from the #3 perch to stay in the game. From there just by dumb luck or the VH hanger being down..... I found myself in a bomber, and took to the B17.....the rest is history...the guy still can't fly a fighter and play the game! Just glad the game has a place for everybody <S>

Love you guys!

999000 and I Flew back in AW with my original squad "Strike Force" and I do believe in the Most Wanted squad.  Can't remember if he followed me there.  I was #Dogg and he was #9900.  He learned the B17 I believe from Tncup who flew the b17 just like 9900.  Sadly when AH came about, we didn't get back together.  Wish we did and I have tried many times way back to get him to join me with the AK's.  Offer is still there 999000, hehehehe. :aok :D

I have been playing since 2000, I also met 999000 and I believe his son too at airshow at Wright Patterson field in 2007.
999000 is very deadly in his B17s. Hope you have fun with it also.

I’m writing this as a 22 year old who grew up watching his dad play Aces high and just dominating night in night out. This is my first time on this forum but I read a couple posts about the old man. I find it hilarious how many bitter 40 year olds there were that got triggered by a guy enjoying the game and pushing others to be better. 999000 is a legend 1000 percent and for all the hateful posts i saw I saw my dad preaching kindness which isn’t something that was just online for him. He’s been flying B-17’s and coordinating missions for over 20 years he’s the MJ of bombers. Just wanted to say hey to anyone who might remember a kid hopping on the headset from time to time and to let people know that 9er is as great of a dad as he is a Gamer and I hope you all keep playing

Ahhhh yes I've been shooting down and getting shot down by 999 since early AH1 back when I was 20 or so (43 now)  I usually get him when I'm feeling lazy and sitting in the 5"ers on a CV and it usually brings out a chuckle when I think "Ahh it was triple 9 again" lol.
Kinda the same feeling fighting him as when ThndrEgg and I would be flying our 17's and we would see a 262 coming in and think "Oh look it's Snailman again."  :)
There are always certain people that you can simply respect and have fun with even when you know there is a good chance they would shoot you down.
I haven't been in the air for a bit but am starting to get the itch to put the VR back on so look out when bombing those CV's 999 :P   <S>

Man when I first started reading this thread I thought Trip9 passed away and was like no not another Legend gone to soon. But hell I loved attacking B17s with my fighters until I crossed paths with 999 I would get one of his drones dead while he would oil me in my A8 hurt another then all I saw was tower windows. A lot of times since I knew where he was after killed me sometimes I would just escort him home lol when he would let me. Another well respected player of the game and many people like to specialize in 1 plane and 999’s was the 17
