RPM/Throttle problems
« on: March 16, 2021, 09:43:22 AM »
Anybody want guess why I'm losing throttle in bombers when I go to the bombsite? I can be flying straight and level at 230 knots approaching a target. I press F6 for the bombsite and immediately the throttle goes to idle. When I go back out I have to raise my RPMs back up by holding down the V key. I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is happenieng.

Thanks.

Check to see if you have auto switch mode checked. When you jump i to the gunsite it switches to mode 2 i think and if your stick isn't setup in mode 2 it will drop out like that. Copy mode 1 to mode 2 or turn off the auto switch

Also check to make sure you don't have your "rpm" analog setting mapped to something your using in F6. Had that problem a couple of years ago.

Thanks guys. Both of those are likely candidates.

Thanks guys. I think both issues were at play. I had something set in my bombadier mode that was causing it, so I copied  mode 1 to mode 4 and it fixed it (as did turning off auto switch). Thanks!
