Lazer <S>.   I rage quit after you killed me in a turn and a half in an LA9 :).  I had reached my fill of LAs and Spit 16s and long flights just to find more of the same.

475th left long ago - Dawger was grumpy about a ride assignments for  FSO but that wasn't his only reasoning for sliding the 475th over to WT.  I just couldn't get excited about that change and stayed.

The itch is growing to download AH again and reenter the fray.  Glad to hear you and so many are still around keeping things going.  Stay safe up there in the wilds of Wisconsin.

Thanks for posting.  Hope you and the others give it some of your spare time when you get bored over there.   :salute

You should know the La7 or spit16 will outturn the p38 buddy. Once again each plane has its advantages and disadvantages. "LEARN THEM"  :salute

I wouldn't say the La7 can out turn a P38. Though in most cases it would come down to the pilot and E situation for sure.

It's quite a shame we've lost so many squads to such a stupid cheesy Russian game like War Thunder. Ugh.

I do agree that there are too many people in easy mode late war planes in the MA. That being said, many people just do not have the patience for a game like AH. Where gaining the advantage takes time and skill. The problem is that dying isn't the problem. But dieing a lot and taking the time to get alt and get to a base can seem like a waste, then when you get jumped by 3 yak3s and 2 spit16s, it makes the game even more harder and frustrating..

I could see that being tough for people. However. If you are a squad based player, and fly with your squad. You should have a pretty good advantage. Just not sure why switching to lame War Thunder would be better?

Are you sick of everyone leaving AH to give their money to foreigners like WarThunder and IL2? HT is based in Texas!

The instant action you're always harping on is right there, and it's free.  I don't see why it's even remotely a mystery.

Exactly. That will draw a bunch of people, even with the game being trash.

Haha, well that's about the only thing it has. The rest of the game when I tried it was super cheeeeeesy. Like didn't come close to AH in terms of flight model or flying feeling. I just thought it was for 10 year olds getting into online air combat for the first time.

I play the IL2 Battle series quite a bit, though more of the campaigns than mutliplayer unless I am flying co-op missions with my brother and his son.  I am particularly enjoying the early access of the Battle of Normandy, and have the other IL2 Great Battles games, including their GV centric one, Tank Crew and their WW1 sims, the Flying Circus Vol. I and Vol. II.  I don't look at it as giving money to the "stupid Russians" but rather fellows that work in the same industry as I do and enjoy their products.

It would be pretty cool if HiTech would release a stand alone single player expansion/DLC campaign.
