Map win no perks awarded

Yesterday I had side switch enabled when I logged in, after awhile I wasn’t able to find much of a fight on Bish/Rook side, so I turned it off and went to Knights.

About 4 hours later Knights won the map and I got a message No Perks Awarded.

I was active, finding numerous GV fights (vs AkaMixer especially, got me about 7:1 ratio) I did go AFK a few times. I took the dog on walk and was gone about an hour, came back looking for a fight and saw that message.

Anyone know why I wouldn’t have been awarded perks?

you need to be 6 hours or something like that in the country.

wish it would be changed for us mercenaries to 1 or two hours as we don't get to decide which country we are in.

I think I’ve gotten perk points being logged in for less time than that.

Well Idk, another player said they’ve gotten map win perks on auto switch. Although I wasn’t at the time, I was on Knights for at least 4 hours...

I'm earning more perks per sortie as a mercenary than the map win gives more often than not. Fly early and mid war aircraft, 30+ perks easy.

it's being in country for 6 hours. so if you log off a knight come back the next day as a knight, your total play time could be 5 minutes and you will get the perks.

and yeah perks are nice as a mercenary and you always get to fly whichever plane you want.

Well they get to fight all they want........ they don't need the points.

I tried the side switch option but it got out of wack for me.

I would go shoot up an enemy base and next sortie I would be assigned to that country defending the base and the sortie after that I'd get reassigned to a country with no fights to be found.

With the perk multiplier I found it easy to get more as many perks as a map win in a few sorties so I figured it was worth the trade off.

Few things wrong here, you assume all the merc's are furballers and all don't care about perks. Message board talk represents 1%-5% of the players, thought we figured this out with plane votes in the past. We'd have the Beaufighter twice if we went with the board.

I dont care about the perks, i just want to fly a pony anytime I want. I am loyal to whichever country i switch to and i dont take advantage of the info I have.  I have taken a base got switched and took the base back, only because nobody was defending.

Right. I'm the same with being loyal to whatever country I was assigned to. I think most people are.

If it works for you great. I never said it didn't work for some people. I said it doesn't work for ME. When you can get assigned to 3 different countries in 3 sorties it's not something I want to do.

It's just kinda odd when you you're assigned to rooks and you go shoot up the nit aaa strat and get killed by the autos at the strat, after you die you type on country that nit aaa strat is down to 70 percent or something only to find you've been reassigned to nit and you're letting your new country know that you just blew up their strat lol.

try taking the same base for 2 different countries in less than 1/2 hour because you failed to notice you got switched. all you read was bring m3 on country.

actually no, I took the base, nobody defended it, got switch, didnt pay attention, went there took down ack brought m3 and took it back.  just that simple,

I have actually took a base back that I just took and was heavy defended, didnt notice that I got switched, brought m3 to that same base because I wasnt payng attention.  took several m3's to take it and take it back.
