The passing of an old squaddie
« on: July 27, 2021, 03:03:28 PM »
I haven't been on this board in a long time and haven't flown probably since 2004, but Aces High was a big part of my late twenties and early thirties, much to my wifes chagrin. I've had some of the funnest (that a word?) and funniest times of my life and belly laughed the hardest I ever have while playing this game. What a hoot it was. A lot of those times were spent with Dave Kirkpatrick (milnko) in the early days of the assassins squad. We met while playing warbirds then came over to aces high I guess in 1999. Man we had some good times.

I found out a few months ago Dave had passed away in hospice care last year. I had no idea he had been sick, matter of fact I hadn't heard from him for many years. It stinks how we all got so close back in the early days of the game only to lose touch for twenty years and then some people die. Some of you old timers probably remember milnko, he had a magnetic personality, was a good stick, and he shot down A LOT of bad guys back in the day. Anyway, I just wanted to let anyone know who knew Dave what had become of him.
