Dell Alienware - with RealTek sound with surround sound - help - sound config

Does anyone have a Dell Alienware Aurora R8?

I am having a heck of a problem adapting sound.  Everything I try sounds like I'm sitting 10-20 feet forward and a huge echo.

Disable all Windows Audio Enhancements.
