i killed a t34, dont aske me which one I dont know with 2 he rounds from the side to the back of the tank.  first one tracked him and smoked him, second one blew up, guess from behind it's easier.

There has been a "Rumor" of a 3rd party APP..being the issue.  I GV from a Spit16...so dont have that experience...but pretty sure HT/DALE would be on top of this..if sent to him?  IF, it was an issue?   As i understand and been told..."What Player sees...player receives!??" in reference to Lag and collisions, so this might apply, to a 3rd party app? It def sounds SHADY AF

1. An HE round on a hanger will damage planes/gv's inside the hanger, i.e. a plane trying to takeoff from a hanger can be killed by an HE round into the side of the hanger. Same should apply to any gv in the vh hanger, it should be damaged. Now whether the gv is just damaged or killed would depend on the specific gv, Jeep or M3 would most likely be killed, a Tank no. If the player just set there and the enemy was able to shoot multiple HE rounds, that might kill a tank.

I have camped many VH's, if the VH was up I could NOT shoot through the walls and kill a GV with HVAP/AP. IF the player was in fact inside the "Up" VH and the enemy was having to shoot through the VH to kill him, SOMETHING is wrong, and film is needed.

2. Snailman would know.  :aok

<S>Lunatic

If one of our countrymen is inside the vh camping, we ask him to drive out of there when we take down the hangar so the killshooter does not take one of us out when
the hangar goes down.

Just saying.

There is at least one base on a map (I forget both atm) where this happens. I’ve been the victim of it, as were many others on the couple of days I watched this happen. It was ONE shot kill each time through the back of a VH that’s up. Other players that were there said they know about it…

I suspect they like to keep it a secret and not inform HT because they do the same when they have the chance. Iirc it’s a V base, but don’t remember which map.

Ask me next time I see you in game and I’ll tell you who the Knights that said they know about it.

CraterMA

V base 148 and 150.  They are the small v bases with two autoguns. There are three others that are in close proximity to the crater as well.
Same thing. But no one ever goes to those bases. They are the sneak'em when no one is looking bases   :D :D

Those bases are located on CraterMA, but you can't shoot through the VH on those maps either. Those bases  you spawn out on to a concrete pad where you can be shot from long range  up the hills. There is also a narrow slot between the VH and the building on the Map Room side that can be shot through, either way, but you better have perfect aim.

Mano, you and I have had some knock out fights at those bases, along with Charger5, Tyfoo, Tankman2, BTBrando, 27th, Mothman, dcat, Rush, Slaxer, 3Frosti, akamixer, I could go on lol. Those bases can generate some great battles.

An HE can kill a plane or small GV through the wall when its getting hammered with HE. It is done all the time. If a “Panzer” is backed up against the wall and it is shot in the 6 it will also go down. I have never seen an AP/ HVAP go through an “Up” Hangar.

As far as the person “Wondering” it was explained to him that night, and Nobody tried hiding anything or keeping anything a secret. The other fact is - that the hangar was getting shot by at least 3 people and I know two that were using HE. The GVs were not the target the hangar was. So you were the “Victim” of a Base attack and it wasn’t some wonder shot.

After the hangar was taken down, then you become a victim if you keep re-upping.

Now is being able to shoot some vehicles through the Hangar a bug? I have no idea. I have been caught in the hangar in an M3, Jeep, & M8 and have been killed 100s of times by such HE rounds so it certainly isn’t new.

Not the base I’m referring to though.

On those bases though and another map with same type of bases, when your opponent shoots through the tiny gap it does appear like you’re getting shot through the (industructable) VH.
