Couple of questions for anyone in the know

I am sure these questions have been asked and answered before, but I missed the answers if they were  

1: Will random in-flight system failures ever be implemented?  I am referring to things like gunjams, supercharger failures, etc.)

2: Will we ever be able to capture a city?  Not with the standard 10 troop thing, but with multiple drops?  I don't know what a good number would be, but it could be pretty cool to do, even if it were a temporary capture for a short duration of time.

I think that is all, just simple wonderings from a simple mind
