Congrats to BTBrando! +5k main gun killshot on a plane from a tank

Start of the map last night at fighter island BTBrando made an incredible shot on one of my drones in B-17's. I had 2.7k altitude and was climbing at dot speed 135 so I wasnt too hard to hit but from that range?! Holy cow that's awesome WTG Brando

After this I've decided to look into recording everything from now so as to share some of the amazing stuff I see people do when they play.

Keep in mind that B17s are a big target, especially if they're a formation. You also have your laser rangefinder (Icon range) and your tank scope has ranges marked and adjusted for ammo. The real skill is getting the lead right.

I agree. He took two shots. I was moving right to left at about a 90 degree angle. After I saw the first round and how close it came to hitting me (less than the length of a bomber) I said to myself "you know what let's give him another shot!" So I didn't take evasive action. Boy did he not disappoint

LoL ,well its always fun shooting down any plane with a main gun.  That's why I try   I was hoping to kill the other 2 bombers with the splash damage , but I will never complain if I can get 1.  Heck, I get excited if I just miss LOL.

I'll go out on a limb and say you hold the record for the landing the longest shot with a main gun for a kill with that one

Maybe there has been a longer shot but records are reported and documented
