Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin, which is the second one swareiam requested for next month's FSO.
"Cat Sass" was the P-38G of 1st Lt. William Schildt of the 95th Fighter Squadron while based at Souk-el-Arba in Algeria on 17th July 1943, the day he completed his tour of duty after 50 combat sorties. He had used this aircraft to score his sixth and final kill three days earlier while in another P-38 he had shot down three Ju 52s in a single sortie on April 11th.
