I am curious, Do you still need the stick and throttle for this? my hands are gone and was wondering how to get back in the game .

You would be able to use a program called Voice Attack to initiate key strokes, I think.  Might be worth a try?

Define "hands are gone". The VR controller work in some planes, but I dont think they work in the vehicles as we no longer have "drivers seats" like the old days.

The add on program "Voice Attack" is a good program and seems to work well with any number of combinations. I have one set up that I say "icon" and it will do the presses to scroll through the icon choices quickly, but stop and pause for a second on "friendly icons" so I can see what those near by are flying and then reset to the normal icons mode. Its all in how you program it and they look pretty versatile for what you can do.

So forward, reverse, turn left, turn right, stop, engine off, engine on, switch guns, switch positions, and fire are all possible with out touching a controller for GVs.

I use VoiceAttack when I am flying an AH bomber in VR.  It allows me to change positions to cockpit/gunner/bombardier and also perform bomb sight calibration.

They have announced they're going to withdraw the facebook account requirement.

This would be a game changer.

I use Facebook for squad and game info so registering my Oculus with them wasn't a big deal.

Create an account, login with your oculus, and then forget the account. Its not hard.
