This idea is borrowed from IL-2 Spitfire V and MC.202 Collector skins display posters I've seen. I'd been looking for a way to show all my skins at once, and I thought this format was good looking. I started this project months ago. All the images are from in-game screenshots. I'm nearing the end of skinning P-51Ds and want to make sure I create a variety of colorful skins from a good range of theaters and groups. I think I wanted to see for myself how AH skins stack up against IL-2 skins, when shown in the same format. Considering we are working with only 1024x1024px skins and the age of the game, I think AH holds up pretty well? On top of that, AH's game play is broader and more fun with many more choices for things to do while in game, and more plane types to fly.
This is a huge 2560x1440 pixel image; clicking on it will open it in a separate browser window.

The side profile works well to show the P-51's art and markings but I'm not sure how to handle B-17s and P-38s yet. We've come a long way since the 16 skin limit, many thanks to Vraciu who convince Hitech to up the skin limit to 64, making this variety possible.
