Merry Christmas from Arlo
« on: December 25, 2021, 12:48:31 PM »
Its been an interesting year. I post from the solitude of my second story apartment. Kelly is in Pflugerville, working her new job and preparing for our move there. My grand daughter celebrated her first birthday on Dec. 6. I rescued a 5 week old pittie pup from the cold and bonded with it but, alas, three weeks later he bit off my right big toe. I'm pretty sure he didn't realize what he was doing. I was asleep and didn't wake up (ahhh, neuropathy). He has since been readopted by someone else. Gonna miss that rambunctious tike. Stitches come out in a couple of weeks.

Not your typical Christmas but things could be worse. The number of things I'm grateful for exceeds the number of things that I miss or regret.

I wish all here the best and MERRY CHRISTMAS!  :)

He has since been readopted by someone else.

But now he has a taste for human flesh.

I doubt it made that big an impact on his palette. If it had, why stop at one toe? I miss that tyke terribly and hope his new master loves him as much as I do.

Pits are the best

Our 4 year old blue is just a big baby

I can see one chewing off a toe though as they love to chew..a good antler goes a long way there

Had I had feeling in my toes, I may have awakened and dissuaded him. He's better off for it. Apartment living with old folks wasn't good for him.

Hope you didn't give him a disease.  That would be cruel.
