War of Rights
« on: January 17, 2022, 04:00:33 PM »
If you like American history and giving someone the Bayonet, then look no further.

Artillery, Infantry, or musician in 300 player servers.

Yeah the guns take longer to reload but when firing in a volley it is intense.

Type 'war of rights' into your browser address bar and you'll likely find what I did.

I'll be the one to ask.  Will the sequel game be War of Lefts?

This is a precursor for a game called " Battlecry of Freedom " which is supposed to be released next month.

Southerners pronounce it "War of the Rats."  So next version may be hampsters.

Do war of rights users get grandfathered into battlecry?  They look like the same game.

I haven't seen anything that would support that idea.

Looks like different developers.  From what is out there it looks very much like war of rights  as in the same.

I have been told that there is 800+ player battles in BoF.

It hasn't even released yet.  How does it have that many users?  Is WoR limited in numbers?  Seems weird that the game looks nearly identical to WoR.

Its on closed beta testing. I missed the window due to janky machine.

Battlecry of Freedom is a clone of Holdfast: Nations at War. It looks like garbage and it's full of 'bots. Yes 'bots. that's how they can say they have ridiculous amounts of players. You play an officer and you have a company of 'bots that follow your every order.

I've played War of Rights for three years now. Every soldier you see in that game is a person playing from their computer. It's the best looking first person shooter I've ever had any interest in. I've seen Hell Let Loose, Beyond the Wire, Arma etc. etc. They cater to the lone wolf. Automatic weapons, armor, heavy weapons, airpower...gaaaaa. War of Rights is 1862 at it's finest!. You need teamwork to win. The game is programmed to punish the lone wolf. It takes twenty seconds to reload your musket. You have to make that shot count. Bayonets are your friends but can also lead to those in command that rely too much on it. The strategy of play is fantastic. Many, many maps. Organized units always eager to take on new players. Join up! Pick a side, Grab your pack. It's awesome.

Good to know.  Counts people like me out.  Looks like a lot of fun otherwise.
