Zuum has passed away
« on: January 19, 2022, 01:36:34 PM »
A long time fellow pilot, Zuum, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2021. He was a tough fighter but the cancer was finally tougher - but the victory was short as he took it with him!

He wasn't just a fellow pilot, he was a friend and more like a brother to me and many of us Finns having flown in the AH skies during the last 20 years or so. From the more active days I still can remember him asking if I had any perk points to burn in a 262 mission which more often than not ended six feet under... And at our meetings the occasional call: Biz, if you've got nothing to do would you take your glass here for a second or three!

We miss him so much it hurts!

Clear skies, brother Zuum!  :airplane:

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Makes me sad to hear fellow pilot, wingman missing.

But when i think how much fun we had in Virrat AH-meetings all these years, it makes happy. One time i was leading flight against evil enemy. I was calling orders in to radio. It was long flight and i said to radio:"Now everyone hit enter three times." Zuum was only one took orders seriously that time. We have laughed for that many times.

Thanks for Zuum good memories. Happy hunting!
