Can someone remind me why it was removed from the game and what the chances are it may be could be brought back?

The argument leading up to it was that the AH 109 G10 was actually the Bf 109K-4
Hence the rebranding.
Easy in-game again.

All 109K were built with the 30mm hub cannon. There is no known reference to any K-4 with gondolas fitted.

I thought the G14 was the G10 with a loss of horsepower. It has the option for the gondolas and the 20mm /30 mm hub cannon

I generally don’t notice the difference in performance from the G14 to K4 other than too speed. Kind of like the LA5 to the LA7

No, the G-14 was an attempt to consolidate the the various G-6 production variations into one standard. It was not the least bit successful in that goal.  G-14's were every bit as mixed-matched as the late G-6.

The G-10 was the next step from the G-14/AS, utilizing the streamlined cowling but using the new DB 605D engines - same as the K-4.

He's why I got into 109s. That dude rekt me in the G10 over and over. It satisfyed my craving in becoming a master of air combat. I realized they were actually very good fighters once I understood air combat in AH. I really love flying the G14 and G2. 

I wish there was the G10 and 109F with goodies still, but hey, they would be too good. I guess the F never had goodies though irl. The G2 is pretty damn close to as good though in the MA battlefield. It's because of the humps on the hood  ;)

The G6 is just too heavy for the smaller engine.

The K4 has a better engine than the G14 and exccelerates better, but its far more challenging to aim with at further distances, has less ammo to spray with on lead shots, and actually doesn't turn as well as the K4. Though its very close. The K4 takes a far better understanding of how to set up your crossing shots and really takes more skill to fly in terms of getting kills than the G14 because you really have to know how to set up your shots.

If the K4 had gondolas, It would definitely be a perked plane.

That's a good thing because you get way more perks flying the G14 and G2.

It's the best plane for learning how to set up crossing and snap shots.

The 109G2 is more related to the K4, as the La7 is to the La5. The G14 does actually have some advantages over the K4, while the La5 has no advantages over the La7s.

The gondolas were introduced in 1942 and there are photos of 109F's with them mounted. The problem is that they are essentially a field modification, but the mounts and wiring were standard equipment beginning with the G series.

I find the g2 with gonds is a great plane in ma in a crowd..with vr 800d shots are not hard

I like the f4 if I know I will be dogfighting t&b against a decent pilot

The k4 is needed if you are going to be outnumbered by fast planes and want to try to live

I like killing other 109's with my 109 and usually target them 1st :)

K4 is a great late war plane killer when you can get the fight down to a 1v1. I think its biggest weakness in the MA is in many vs many scenario where the guns aren't well suited for blowing thru while killing rapidly at range. The 47M is my favorite for that.
