Dumbest Death (tggr)

Been mulling it over for a few days and decided to share with the community the absolute stupidest death I've suffered in AH.  I'm flying along in my !90D looking for bombers, after a few minutes one pops up on dar,  turn towards it and  find a lonely C47 at about 6K.  Easy pickings run through my mind as I dive down. He evades and I climb back up for another try, he evades again. I go into a climbing turn, he sees what I am doing and does the same. I've let myself get sucked into a turn fight with a C47. After way too many turns I stall out and auger. Wish I had caught the pilots name but was too shocked at what had just happened.

He was just as surprised as you at what happened, I'll wager.

The hardest-learned lessons stick with you the longest.

Now, with that being said, if you ever think you have done the dumbest thing in Aces High, it's only because someone else is not fussing up.

Way back in Midwar I was caught in a C47 by 2 mustangs. I was on the deck. The dove on me and a turn fight ensued. They both ended up augering.

Just then other day I was in a 152. Dove in on a storch and managed to take both its wings and tail off AND set it on fire. I was so mesmerized by the brutality of it all that I forgot to pull away and slammed right into his crispy remains. Good thing I kept a spare joystick

Just last night, I started a takeoff from a CV without my feet being on the rudder pedals...  Boat was turning...  Could happen to anyone.

I did it twice in a row.

mano was in a gv attacking our base. I tried 2manned guns but I'm not good at them. so I switched no a near base to prove my amazing bomb**** skills. I am talking crap to him all the way there. finally I initiated my dive from 6k. I press secondary for bombs. no bombs, I don't understand I always carry bombs in my pony. I reach for the back key, still no bombs.  it says canons. I'm confused ponies don't have cannons, as I'm still diving I finally paid attention just in time to auger I realized I was in a spit8.

I was in such a rush that I selected the plane below the pony. I was to busy typing to notice the difference.

revenge can't let Mano be on my field. I quickly made sure sure I had a pony.  flew back,  initiated my dive, big smile on my face. dropped bombs and ended up in the tower. he shot me right in the face as I dropped my bombs.
