I learned to kill 262's based on how griz flew, I killed him maybe once or twice because I would climb up in a pony while he flew low on the ground, then I would dive down faster than him and took parts off, 262's dont fly low anymore the way he did. he was good in it but he he took advantage of what he knew.  still remember the time he organized a mission then 1/2 way there he bailed out and him and his squad switched country and took off in 262's. they got lots of kills but it was a chitty way to do it.  saw him several times landing at a base I was taking off, he would switch countries and come back and kill the bombers he knew that had taking off.  that was a crappy way to play the game just for kills.  I am not sorry he's not around anymore.

if i remember correctly score display would show kills accumulated since last death/ditch etc.

I remember some pony drivers doing streaks 100+, but like eagler says - sounds horribly boring :)

I tried it couple of times, my ADHD wouldn't let me finish ...

Yeah, that's how I remember it being done when tallying one's kills....

Great seeing some of the names posting!  I've been away from the message boards and game since early January...

Dealing with real life stuff...

Hope everyone is doing well and I hope to be back soon!

Damn good times. Me him and Kappa would always go out and do crazy stuff. (I was the bait for them). They were by far better than I ever thought of being.

I wondered if you were making an uncredited guest appearance at 4.16.  :rofl

Good grief that bring back memories, back when AH had a colourful and broad player base. You could run with the mission planners one minute and furball the next.
I was running with LCA all that night in my HurricaneII while they were running rampant through our missions in those jets.

I think I still have the all-time record for the Pony, and Ta. Don't let a game stress you.

23 in a P-47N in about 2008 is my highest and was after dropping VH and ord bunkers. Most were bombers that kept streaming in low, felt like a shooting gallery. I never had the patience it takes to do something like that or try, always a ack gun or ord bunker that could be strafed.
