Mossie & ME410, would indeed be  good to see, but I wonder if such a sensable addition will come, judged buy previous aircraft choices?.

Ding_Hao,

Can you provide performance and armament options data for the Me410B? I can't find any data on it.

I'm curios and would like to compare it with the Me410A.

I'd love to see the 410. Great jabo plane and bomber destroyer (given enough time to climb). Wasnt there also a version with a 50mm cannon?

Regurge,

Yes, both the Me410 and Mosquito have a "big gun" version.

The Me410 has a version with a 50mm gun and 20 rounds, IIRC.

The Mosquito FB.XVIII is an FB.VI with the 4 20mm cannon replaced with a single 57mm Mollins gun with 27 rounds.

Forgot some kits for the Me410, some of them flew with the 50mm gun, some with a special rocket pod, wich caused alot of trouble before they could get it right, no known combat reports with the rockets though.
Had numerous more, although the ones you mentioned were the most common  :)

The ME410 would be great to add, the Uhu would probarly do better in the MA though, considering it's got a high speed and one cruel armement, I vote for both  :)

Ding_Hao,

Thanks.

I think you guys are missing the point.  We don't need another Luftwaffe fighter, we have lots.  We need a Luftwaffe fighter-bomber.  The Me410A-1 and Me410B-1 both have forward firing guns, but in addition they can act as effective strike aircraft.  Right now only the USAAF and USN have effective strike aircraft, even the Typhoon is poor when compared with the F4U-1D, F4U-1C, F6F-5, P-38L, P-47D-25 and P-47D-30.  The Mosquito FB.VI and, especially, the Me410A-1 or Me410B-1 would add effective strike aircraft to the roster of non-American nations.

We don't want the heavy fighter version of the Me410, that would be nearly useless.

Karnak--NP and just call me Ding.

The main reason why these planes are excellent additions is because of RAW FIREPOWER.  Though they wont be much use as a heavy fighter or bomber destroyer, that still is no reason not to include the 50mm option.  The Me-410 would be the equal of the Il-2 (a tank killer) w/ the addition of a strike capability.

Ding,

I agree, I would like to see the big gun versions of both.

A Panzer IV'd respect a 50mm or 57mm cannon alot more I think.

Once the basic airframe is in AH, HTC has an easier time adding new versions.  Look at the Fw190s, Bf109s and P-47s for examples of that.
