My apologies for not being there for MNM,  Shuf, it was 86 degrees here Monday and the water in the pool was 82....

I went swimming from 1:50 until about 7pm....just to much of a rush trying to get home and make it Monday Night

Last time I showed up,  it was basically all Brewsters, i16s with zekes and or ki43 thrown in....so yeah, there's that 🤔 😂 🤣

Hope all are doing well!

That would be an unfortunate move based on one complainer.   :headscratch:

I agree with Puma, although I like varying the plane set.  Twin engine night was a lot more fun that I thought it would be.

Not at all, my friend.  But, you have been AWOL for quite some time now.  So, get your bad self back in here.  Got to admit, that pink Spit is much more attractive than your dingy ol’ black Hurri.  So, yuh might as well get Miss Blizz back in here to improve the looks of this whole crowd.   :rofl

Couldn’t agree more about twin nights.  Always great fun.  Doing a different plane set the first Monday of the month always makes it interesting and fun.  MNM is a uniquely fun event that always draws a good crowd, and there is always someone that is complaining and whining about something that is usually based on a personal lack of some sort of skill set. There used to be one who would show up every Monday and start complaining about getting shot down and not believing it actually happened.  After getting shot down twice, he would stomp off in a lather and go to the Main (where we all know it’s always a really fair fight, ripe with HOing, 4,5,6 V 1, etc).  In fact, he would show up on Thursdays, get shot twice, and stomp off for home.  Kind of a trend.

Bottom line: none of this dictated a change in plane set.   :salute

Don't change anything on my account. You will lose all your brew drivers. I am just one. You can't please everyone. The event has moved on and developed its own way. Plus or minus.

I will probably stop by from time to time. I am but one.

PUMA..... where is that book?  :aok

It’s on the list.  Also working up more short stories for the final product.  :salute

MNM is fine just the way it is. No need for any major changes. You can survive and even land a few kills in the "non-turny" planes so long as you fly them to their strengths.
A skilled Typhoon or 190 driver could frustrate the turny bird crowd to no end. Sometimes I think it would be nice though if all the buildings were solid.

I wonder if there would be enough interest in a weekly event using the same plane set and weather but a more open terrain with a slightly higher alt cap. Judging from my MNM
experience, it would appear there's enough players who like the mid-war aircraft to support a second 1-2 hour weekly gathering.
