All of us are investing in china with the majority of our purchases as the basically slave labor there provides the largest profit margins while keeping the junk cheap enough for the average stooge

For a brit you make a lot of noise zack..like your opinion on any of this is more relevant than anyone else

We tire of your repeated mindless attempts at downplaying our responses with what you must think are superior ones lol

The US government any better than the Chinese?

The Chinese government does what it likes because you give them your coin.

Your to blame

But as usual with you people it’s everybody else not you.

Nothing in the UK comes from china.

The UK won WW2 all by itself :)

You people take NO blame for the Chinese on a personal level.

It is always OTHER’s who are to blame.

You people are incapable of a original thought.

You watch your media and take your facts from wikidiot without a pause.

And then you get all annoyed.

The arrogance and ignorance is frightening.

I have my doubts that you actually have.

Great excerpts from Goodreads:

“I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain.”

@Arlo, interesting post.

It's not that there is misinformation or news that is not perfectly center, it is that there are so many willing to believe talking heads that provide no legit facts or sources.  That says more about human nature than anything else.

I wonder why seemingly "educated" people are so willing to hand over their brain to believe false truths.  GLUED to watching pundits that fan Autocracy rather than the unification of Democracy and the American people.  The truth is we have more in common than these extreme pundits want us to believe.  However, some pundits are committed to making short-term profits at the expense of Democracy's stability.

If enough people could muster the courage to stop watching their BS they'd have to change what they spew.  We still have minds and can think for ourselves right!? You know what to do then.  :old:

Discalimer: This post is not pro or con any side as what I described exists on both.

The Power of Big Oil (Part One: Denial)
FRONTLINE’s three-part series The Power of Big Oil examines the fossil fuel industry’s history of denying climate change by delaying action and casting doubt on scientific research. Part One: Denial charts the fossil fuel industry’s early research on climate change and investigates the efforts to sow seeds of doubt about the science.

Okay we get it. Big oil is a big liar. Got it!

Now let's get on with drilling as much oil as we can because we need the oil.

Methinks you exaggerate 'need.'  ;)
