Methinks you exaggerate 'need.'  ;)

Well then you're completely out of touch with reality.

What exactly is my oft to use response or common claims? I'll give you $5 if you can point one of them out.

It seems to me that in your mind you think and believe things that never happened.

I would also like to point out that I didn't mention extremism in any manner. So I don't even know what you're talking about there. Or why you would bring that up.

I've seen you mention to people you disagree with more than once that they're 'out of touch with reality.' I'm sorry but having a more accurate perspective on a subject isn't that. But relying on such a response rather than coming to terms with a more accurate viewpoint is a form of extremism. It's that 'no, you're the ignorant one because I'm set in my views' form of interaction. :)

Reality:

https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/america-produces-enough-oil-to-meet-its-needs-so-why-do-we-import-crude

From reading that, you should understand why true conservatives, not RINO Bush followers, are so angry about what is taking place in America.

He mentions, high costs: land, labor, regulations, taxes, ect. With very little or no incentive to make us competitive to the world. You see, all of those nations don't have costs like we do because the countries we get our oil from are run by people who know what their biggest commodity is, and thus do everything they can to keep prices low, which usually means poor working standards, poor regulations, low wages, and cheap production standards. Who cares about all of that when its not your country  :rofl. We should be looking for ways to compete against that and incentivize American business. Infact in SA, its moslty Americans/internationals working there. These leaders actually have full control over the gas and oil industry, and what happens when they control the business of selling oil. The leaders reap the rewards and may or not give it back to the people. Only 3% actually work in SA, but im sure living there and not working is an absolute blast! My father told me all about it after working there.

In America, leaders don't have control per say, but they can make it a living nightmare for a business who wants to compete. In order for their investment in the businesses they want to succeed, ie wind, solar, electric. Who cares about the byproducts of those though. Who cares where Electric batteries get mined. So they will actually hurt the American oil business to spite America's success because they want to build up their business and agenda, which is not what they should be doing. He was also right about using it as a political carrot and stick, just like Marijuana. Though, atleast we had someone actually perform their word and get them lower in the last administration. Funny how we got lower prices even though more American oil companies were producing. That's what happens when you add more supply and allow American businesses to compete.

His article also reminds me of why we tried to take over Syria. Good ole Genie Oil, which I'm sure none of you want to mention. Funny how it's okay to have a pipeline run thru that country after we try to take out its leader, but who cares about all of that.  I'm sure Loz Cheney and her father Rinos know ALL about that. Now do you see how they are all on the same side now?

It seems like I've seen that supposed thought process used multiple times. Many of those 23405 posts could be described as such.

You sure seem to put a lot together with no information, at all. Likely that's been your problem for awhile now. :)
