Ukraine part 3
« on: May 03, 2022, 10:07:51 AM »
Heard they are sending staff back into the embassy in Kyiv as they think that's a good idea at this time..

So when one of them are killed are we then jumping in with both feet?

Sounds like that's a possibility wanted by some..

Why would we do that or send skeletor over there promising another 30 billion of our taxes - don't recall agreeing to that - when at anytime a missile could take them out and escalate this circus to a level no one wants but our leaders it would seem..

How about peace talks and not more escalation?

This could easily turn into another endless war if they are allowed to do so...war is big big $$$$ for many..

Peace Talks? Might be worth the while to read about the The Munich Agreement of 1938.

Yes a surrender of some sort..the sooner the better

They lost land in 2014 and the world went on...

Time to lose more and let the world get on with its coming recession/depression/financial reset.

Unless there are reasons some want it to lope along for months/years for nothing else but profit

Do you think Russia is going to back down now without some sort of settlement?

Why would they?

Just seems odd I hear nothing about a peaceful solution but only additional billions of $$$ to keep it going...

Why?

Maybe because as admitted by some this is nothing but the latest proxy war against Russia and not about actually helping the average Ukrainian get back to their day to day..

It'd be ideal if the repeat offenders got a short or long term vacation.

Why shouldn't this be discussed in a civil manner?

Why do some immediately cry for a lock?

If you can't contribute with something worth reading please don't

This is a huge deal people but lets talk about your hobbies instead... :O

Sorry, I just can't countenance any dictator assuming he can take over a sovereign nation by force; any more than I could condone your neighbor from usurping ten feet of your yard.

Because the repeat offenders aren't intelligent enough to have a civil discussion that is within the rules of the board.

If you're wondering who they are...

Probably just another one of many nicknames/insults for POTUS. Eagler has a knack for trying to look clever but failing miserably.

So in the first post he calls POTUS a childish name, but in the next he expects people to discuss the topic he raised in a civil manner?

Read up on the Munich Agreement in 1938.   It failed to appease Hitler, and WWII followed.  That's why it's a big deal.   Very tough situation though; this time the other fellow has nukes.
